According to Variety (and then later confirmed by Chandler himself via Twitter), he has booked the role of Jamie Stryder, the brother of Saoirse Ronan's character, in the upcoming film, based on the book by Stephenie Meyer, "The Host". Filming is set to start in February in Louisiana and New Mexico, and the movie is scheduled to come out on March 29th, 2013. Congratulations, Chandler!

In case you haven't heard about "The Host", here's a little information on what the book/movie is about:

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. Our world has been invaded by an unseen enemy. Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact and continue their lives apparently unchanged. Most of humanity has succumbed.

When Melanie, one of the few remaining "wild" humans, is captured, she is certain it is her end. Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, was warned about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the glut of senses, the too-vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.

Wanderer probes Melanie's thoughts, hoping to discover the whereabouts of the remaining human resistance. Instead, Melanie fills Wanderer's mind with visions of the man Melanie loves - Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body's desires, Wanderer begins to yearn for a man she has been tasked with exposing. When outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off on a dangerous and uncertain search for the man they both love.

A.R Films, producer of "The Goats", posted the very first still of the movie online! We finally get to see Chandler in full costume. He looks so different with those big glasses, don't you think? I can't wait for more "The Goats" related stuff.

First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year! It's still not 12 AM where I live, but I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a fantastic 2012. Anyway, back to Chandler updates, today he tweeted a photo of himself and "Fringe" co-star and friend Karley Scott Collins. The picture is way too adorable for words.
